It is sponsored by the International Society of Experimental Artists and features a diverse range of artworks, selected by a panel of esteemed judges.
This year it is located in the Tubac Centre of Arts in Tubac, AZ, November 6, 2026 - January 3, 2027.

Piles of old newspapers and holiday wrapping paper motivated me to turn them into artisan paper, a process I had to research. I experimented with gently adding wildflowers I selected during a forest walk. After several batches and drying techniques were tried, I created only two pieces upon which to draw. Using acrylic ink pen I drew hands over the bumpy paper. This too was experimental as I use smooth paper for my drawings. I found the perfect twig, which I covered with gel medium. It became the support for hanging the hands by bronze threads from the renewed twig. I was delighted to recycle unwanted or neglected items into a bespoke artwork
